Guitar Chords: Kholo Kholo, Taare Zameen Par
What a wonderful song it is! Shankar Ehsaan Loy (SEL) are rocking for sure! They are dishing out one hit song after another… I am surely become a fan of theirs! The following song hosts a few modified chords so understanding barre chords is a must… but I assure you, the satisfaction that one derives from playing this song is unmatched. Sing while you play or get yourself a singer to really enjoy the song! Again, a treat for all acoustic guitar lovers out there!
The following chords have been approved by Ehsaan himself on lifekidhun.com, so just enjoy playing them!

hey Abhinav,
im just a beginner.
bt wanted to try playin the song “kholo kholo”
got the chords frm ur blog… thnx.
bt the problem is that i cnt get the very 1st chord,i.e.,the startin of the song.
if u cud plz make it simpler for me,i wud be thnkful.
thankin u,
karishma.
hi Karishma!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Well, the starting part is not very easy to play for sure and is even more difficult to sound like the original, but i will help you out. Let me tell you bit by bit. First, hit the open sixth string. Then strike the Emin chord. Then play the 2nd fret of the fifth string and hammer the 4th fret of the same string. You can slide it too but hammering is faster. Then play the Asus2 chord and finally hit the 3rd fret of the sixth string. You will have to do it real fast to make it sound like the song. With a little practice u would b doing great!
by d way, if u r not yet comfortable with barre chords, i would suggest u not to try playing this song. Get urself comfortable with open chords and then try the barre.. i dnt want u to try a very hard song too early and give up! Enjoy!
hey abhinav,
thnx a lot for ur help.
i ll try playin the chord n wud let u knw bout the progress.
n i wud also keep in mind that i dnt ve to giv up if i cnt play the sopng wel nw.
im gud at playin the lead guitar though nt at the chords… bt wud learn soon.
thnx anyway.ve a gud day.
Hey Karishma,
its good that u have learnt playing lead first. chords are very easy to master. Regular practice and within a week u wud b easily playing the basic chords. Enjoy! and do suggest me with some songs to chord about.
hi abhinav
hws lyf.
i m deep i sing for a band named cupids.
its been two yrs i hv bn singin for my band .
this yr i thought i shud learn guitar and though did tht.
i learnt scales first then lead and nw chords and really doin well but findin problem in maintainin the rythm really i cant sing along wid the guitar.
i m struggling wid the strumming though i m gud in execution.
i wud luv to have some rthm and strummin tips from u.
hope u ll sort this out.
thaks
Hi Deep.. rhythm grasping requires lots of ear training so listen to as many songs as possible and try to focus on the rhythm. You need not have guitar to practice rhythm. Try to play the rhythm with ur hands on a table along with the song. Then incorporate that on the guitar by strumming. Keep training your ear and you will naturally improve.

Hey,
great work!!
one question… what’s F#*?
Aman – F# power chord is written as F#*.
Well, first part is a bit difficult, but once you practice enough, you’ll feel good actually that you can play it, just like i did.
Thanks abhi.
hey Abhinav.. Really liked this blog. Helps a lot to play.. I am still trying my best to play this song. Chords are always easy.. Its the solo part and yes I am talking about the starting part of this song. I see that you have shared the comment on how to play the start of the song. Thanks.. will try and let you know the outcome.
And i tried Maa of the same movie using your lesson, can play now (including Solo) :).. Thanks for that

After hammering on to 4th fret of 5th string, play 3 strums muted. DUD.
Just saying so that others don’t break their heads.
