Guitar Chords: Phir Dekhiye, Rock On!! (SEL)
All music lovers and especially band members… this should be the most awaited movie for all of us! Shankar Ehsaan Loy (SEL) have again been able to weave magic with their beautiful music. Phir Dekhiye from the movie Rock On!! is a wonderful harmony of acoustic guitar and piano. No way a guitarist can afford to miss this song! The strumming pattern is very easy but the chords are a bit complicated. Newbies can simply play the major or minor of the said chord.
Chords used in the song:
An easier way to play the chords to use a capo on 4th fret. Chords will simplify to:
Intro Riff
Play B chord 4 times

Hi Abhinav,
Could you please post the chords for the song “Dooba Dooba..”
Thanks..
Thanks for your site.It helps me very much to find the chords of hindi songs.
Hi Abhi..
you just done a nice work !!
keep posting…..
Thanx Utkarsh!
Hi Abhinav,
I have been visiting your site to learn simple chords for hindi songs ..and have found that whilst Site is very useful and one of the best resource to find hindi songs chords, It sometimes does not provide the strumming pattern for each song .
( for e.g this one Phir Dekhiye, Rock on) .. and hence it becomes difficult for new learner to find out what’s the strumming pattern?
I have found some songs on which strumming pattern is described…as well..which is useful.
hence what i would appreciate is if you can provide a standard way of providing these chords.. for every song..
then it would encourage new/experienced guitrists to come again and again and visit your site for new songs.. as they would then know that the information/knowledge they will get is going to be bang on correct.
hope this is going to be +ve comment on improving your already excellent site.
I will try to include strumming patterns to all the songs that I post here.
a nice blog ….after coming to it i wud once again pick up my guitar abandoned for months..thanks
Thanx!
I VISIT UR SITE AND I LIKE THE WAY THAT GIVE HINDI SONG CHORD PATTERN.
Good once yar thanku very much////////
Hi Abhinav
I am practicing guitar chords what u have posted & it realy helping beginers like me
Hi, its really nice to see you do all these n reading Sherlock holmes novels….. But what i got by seeing ur Blog is that… Your knowledge on music is not that grand… u know to play guitar, that’s cool…. most of us does… the number of songs u have written as your best ones are the most simplest songs i have ever heard. Basically I am from Assam, And kids at my place play these sort of songs like Pehla Nasha and wake me up when December ends… i did the same when i was a kid… no offence…I love playing guitar too n i try to teach people how to hold the cords as much as i can… ur way of teaching is good…. but for the new learners… Well if u are wondering if i am a girl or a boy then, let me introduce myself to u, I am a girl from a lovely place called Assam, and right now i am working as a 2D animator in delhi. There are many artists worth listening…. imitating them is almost impossible… but with utimate practice u can learn and follow them…. I completely respect ur choice but there has to be some critics so that you can grow more in this field…..
Hi Pepe, Sorry I saw your comment late and hence the delay in reply.
Regular readers of my blog and those who have been following me for some time know that my knowledge in guitar playing is mostly self-taught and at intermediate level. I have no professional training in guitar or music theory. I have never intended to nor can I possibly teach those who have more expertise in guitar playing than me.
What I intended to do here is to create a platform where like minded people of all levels of guitar playing can come together and share their knowledge. And I am glad to say that I have managed to share whatever knowledge I possess to lots of people who were looking for it across the world.
I am glad you took the time to write this comment. I love Assam and would love to visit the place. In fact, my first GF was from Guwahati, Assam 🙂
I hope I have managed to get this message across to you that I am not showing myself as an expert here, rather people assume I am one.
Take care!
Hi.. Thanks for the chords! Too late but i just came across your site.
Can you please share the piano interlude too..? Please..
Hi Maithili,
Welcome to my blog! I haven’t tabbed the interlude part; try googling. I will try and get that done.
Hi,
I have just started learning chords and have a few silly questions.
What does # signify?
Does m mean major or minor?
What does add9 mean?
Thank you for the wonderful site!
Hi Divyaa,
‘#’ denotes sharp notes. The note between C & D is C# (or Db, called Dflat) called “Csharp”.
‘m’ indicates minor chord. So ‘Cm’ is Cminor chord. Major chords are usually denoted by ‘M’ or nothing at all. Just ‘C’ is a Cmajor chord.
In simple terms, ‘add9’ is an addition chord. You will need to know a bit of music theory to understand how it is formed. One cool chord is Cadd9. Position is similar to G but bring the top two fingers down to 5th string.
